Mission Defense Solutions was built on the foundation of years of experience gained working within larger OEM and VAR organizations. In fact, several of us have prior experience working for the very OEM partners that we support today. Allen Lerner

Allen Lerner is the founder of Mission Defense Solutions and a seasoned entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in secure federal environments. With over 20 years serving the Intelligence Community, Allen has built a reputation as a trusted advisor, known for guiding agencies through complex cybersecurity and datacenter challenges in highly sensitive classified settings

His ability to navigate these environments has helped him forge lasting trust with government stakeholders, technology vendors, and end-users who have advanced into executive leadership. Vendors frequently turn to Allen for his insight and relationships to expand their presence in the IC.
In 2023, Allen launched Mission Defense Solutions to deliver tailored, consultative solutions that protect and enable the nation’s most vital missions. His vision is to position MDS as a specialized partner to the IC while strategically expanding into the DoD and civilian sectors. Allen combines entrepreneurial drive, technical depth, and integrity—qualities that make him an invaluable partner in advancing mission success.

Lamgee Wong

VP of Finance & Operations

Lamgee Wong serves as Vice President of Finance and Operations at Mission Defense Solutions, where he builds the systems and teams that keep the business strong and focused on customer success. With more than 20 years in finance and accounting, and over a decade in the IT and solutions space, he brings deep expertise in scaling organizations to support growth.
Throughout his career, Lamgee has led successful CRM and ERP upgrades, migrations, and implementations—ensuring that teams have the tools and processes to operate efficiently. Known for aligning finance, accounting, and operations with sales and customer needs, he helps turn internal functions into strategic drivers of growth.
Lamgee’s focus is clear: create the operational foundation that enables Mission Defense Solutions to better serve U.S. government customers and their critical missions. Outside of work, he is a devoted husband and father of two who enjoys basketball, golf, volleyball, and discovering new places and restaurants.

Michael Price

Network Security Engineer

Michael Price leads our technology partnerships, engineering, R&D, and customer support efforts at Mission Defense Solutions. He brings more than two decades of experience supporting mission critical systems for the Intelligence Community, DoD, U.S. Cyber Command, NASA, NOAA, DISA, and the White House Communications Agency.
Michael served in roles ranging from Security Analyst, Security Architect, Network Architect, and Systems Administrator. Earlier in his career, he worked with the internet start-up USinternetworking in Annapolis, MD and spent three years in the U.S. Navy. He holds extensive certifications including CISSP, PCNSE, CCSE, JNCIA, ACE and many more to reflect the breadth of his expertise across cybersecurity and networking disciplines.
Michael holds a Masters of Science in Information Assurance from Capital College and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science from the University of Maryland University College. Outside of the office he is a husband and father of three who also enjoys time golfing, mountain biking, and coaching lacrosse.
